is there any subaru short shifter i can put in mine? i dont wanna mess with taking a bunch of stuff out to put this in

Many have installed the STI short shifter... BUT it will require a extra coupler to make it work with our transmission. There is a detailed thread somewhere on this sub-forum regarding it. search.
