Open DP question

So i am running open DP right now will this through a check engine light? i have a brand new o2 sensor. Car runs great untill; once warm and i go over 60mph the check engine light comes on it doesnt really run bad i just get terrible gas millege any ideas?

I don't think it would. Mine didn't when I drove it with a 3" open DP. Why don't you find out what code it's throwing?

No, it shouldn't throw a CEL.
