'92 Legacy SS- new equipment!

Hey guys! I just picked up this legacy turbo SS last tuesday, so far I absolutely love it! I've wanted one for the longest time but put it off because I thought insurance would kill me, but who cares if it does, you're driving a scooby!

Use to drive a '02 2.5TS impreza, but this car is so much nicer, 325,000 km on the clock and very solid underneath, i bought it with a ton of spares, including all the body panels in much better condition, i hope to revamp it over the coming time i spend with it.. His name is Grimm, by the way. haha.

I've got a Ver6 STi TMIC to put in, and am looking into the TD04 upgrade, along with chipping.. I got a JECS maf and wrx fuel pump and brand new fuel rails with the car :)

Right now the car has a hallman mbc and forge BPV, I bought a set of j-body alloys with pirelli wintersports, painted them of course, gold! and have some hella 500s and fogs to put on it.. also have a set of wrx springs to put on, maybe source some 4pot's...

not going for super wild, just a comfy car to take around town, while my boosted tercel does the lapping duties.

No I haven't yet. a friend of mine has ran sunfire wheels on his leggy and imprezas in the past, i believe the sunfire is a 57mm hubbore, and the subaru is 56mm hub bore? either way i will get it sorted if it's the other way around.

Looks real nice - I haven't seen a black facelifted SS before.

Thanks! The car is a bit rough, the drivers doors need to be replaced because of rust on the bottom of them, as do the front fenders, and the right rear quarter needs patching, all that will come with time though, just have to get it through winter then I will start doing the body work.

Thanks!

Got the car to pass emissions testing today.. damn o2 sensor was unplugged.. i wondered what that wire hanging under the car was!! :O

So yep, all registered and legit now, I am so happy. Throw on my winter's tomorrow, maybe adjust my ebrake as it's not the taught-est thing right now, mess with the MBC to get it to make atleast stock boost.

Yes, nico, we met ages ago. You had your GC sedan all finished, chit chatted with you a little at a brant st. meet when firkins was there.. I use to drive a green 2002 2.5TS wagon, i had ditched it that winter, if you remember.

(I'm also 02GD_Wagon on TSC..)

Here is the sunflower wheels on the car.. great tires too, Pirelli Snowsport 210s..

The tires currently on them are 225/45/17, so i will probably stick with that. Keeps it cheaper. :)

I have NEVER seen a BC with these wheels.:)

I have pics of a black S1G1 on +45 Enkei RPF1's. They're on my other computer, I'll upload them soon. I hope that bend in the lip can be repaired on those pretty rims!

Another black SS, and a pre-facelift too. :D

Yeah I really wanted a pre-facelift for the longest time, but the 92 is just as good. im split down the middle about the rear end on the two, but i do prefer the pre's bumper for mounting of lights and whatnot.

That picture brings a little tear to my eye  The first car I bought from a dealer was a 4th generation Prelude and man I miss that car! Still love my '91 Legacy wagon though, regardless of the issues she gives me!

Ah cool! Yeah that one has a H22A dohc vtec Japanese spec motor in it, thing goes like stink.. even has the 4 wheel steer system, very cool, but such a finicky piece of shit that car is.
