I'm picking up a set of 17x8 wheels this weekend, just wanted to see some pictures of legacy's with this fitment.
Thanks!

I'm guessing 2"? Can't say for sure. It was sitting on 04 STI struts for so long before I got these and I think those might have been a touch lower than stock. It was an inch shorter until I got these wheels and tires and had to raise it up to keep the tires from hitting the fenders.

Lot of people said not to buy cheap coilovers because they need rebuilding after only 30K miles or something and they wear out quick and clunk. I don't know exactly what is considered a cheap coilover but for my wallet the Type HTs weren't cheap. $2,500 retail but I got them slightly used for $1,500. They have maybe 30K on them and they ride awesome. I've also seen a lot of threads with people talking bad about Tein but these are my first coilovers so I can't comment on the lower models. They seem to work pretty well on my car. Sure beats monster trucking around with too much height on the front, which is what happens when you put WRX or STI suspension on 1st gen legacys generally.

Here's a shot before I got those wheels when it was nice and slammed. I like that look so much better. I'm always tempted to drop it again now that the fenders are rolled.

Yeah I've heard mostly shitty things about the entry level tein coilovers. I'm not looking to slam my car, because once you've lowered the car so much, the FLCA's point upward and creates a shitty camber situation in corners. I figure a set of D-spec tokico struts is 500$ and Ground Control coilover sleeves and springs are a good quality piece, so i'll run those. then I can adjust height for summer/winter without spending tons of money on track dedicated suspension.

I bought these because I was hoping they would last and be decent quality and they were $1,000 of retail being only slightly used and in like new condition. What really sold me was they were one of the few coilovers I had found that have front AND rear camber plates which meant I didn't need to get adjustable trailing arms in the rear.
