Hi, I put an 02-05 (seller didn't specify which year) WRX shift linkage into my Legacy:




Problem is, my legacy's sheetmetal doesn't fit over the WRX's rubber piece properly (a hard, circular rubber protrusion in the upper righthand corner is stopping it from bolting down flush).
This is the part that I need the WRX version of:






Do you have the correct sheetmetal?

I was able to use the stock metal plate with the wrx linkage and boot not sure why yours doesn't work? It was only $10 for the plate. I used part # 35038AA080.
