this sounds like an interesting topic, what would you do with 2,000 and a bone stock turbo wagon. or any turbo legacy for that matter.
basically, how would 2,000 dollars be best spend on a 1st gen turbo legacy. this includes powertrain mods, suspension, appearance, interior, etc. 2,000 dollar limit

i wanna hear what you guys have to say, i have some money, not sure where to put it quite yet, so lets hear it.

Replace the 4EAT timebomb with a manual transmission. Spend the rest on fixing whatever you hate after that.

Probably coilovers. Then timing belt job. Won't have much left over after that. If anything.

It all depends on what you're starting with and what you're goals are.

I'd probably suggest suspension, brakes, and wheels & tires first.

Tires, 16" wheels, brake pads/lines/flush, struts, springs. 5-speed only if the Auto dies.

id start with water pump, oil pump(with o ring and crank seal), timing belt with idlers, rad hoses, rad, brakes, struts/springs, ball joints, than 5spd if necessary...
