What is a good compression rate for front and rear springs matched with KYB adjustable struts on a 92 legacy wagon 5-speed (ej22), that will be optimal for gravel and dirt rally performance?

I think you'll want slightly softer springs on gravel & dirt roads. Unfortunately, I think your options are going to be kind of limited to what's out there. I probably would not recommend a lowering spring, but rather one that has slightly higher spring rates than stock.
Honestly, I'd probably just use the stock springs with the AGX's. The new struts will probably make the most difference.

^What he said.
Though, an alternative that'll provide a slight lift and a touch more rate is '02-'03 WRX springs. Plus, they're cheap and readily available.
