Timing Belt slip problem with setting it up again

hi There Ive been struggling with my 95 legacy sohc 16v 2.2 L. 192k on it (WAS driving perfectly) I was stopping and my car just switched of after couple of days i found the reason for it, there was only one cylinder getting pressure of 70 psi that was the second one and the 4th one about 50 psi the 1st and 4th one had no compression at all (i did mark them in firing order). the camshaft belt idler (bearing inside of it) was almost melted and it got stock which lead the timing belt to jump couple teeth. since i was sure the valves were all the way bend i took of the valve covers (since they were liking a lot i didn't care about gaskets) i rotate the camshaft and all the valves are rotating just fine. I call my friend and he told me to set it on the arrows that i have on the 3 wheels and set the belt on the marks (marks on the belt). And i did it when i tried to turn on my car it was catching on 2 cylinders and i was thinking that the valves that had no compression are bend but to my surprise the opposite ones the first and the 4th one are having the compression now. im not a pro mechanic but i think if the cylinders are getting pressure the valves are good i just don't know hot to set them properly. 2 rotations of crankshaft are equal to 1 rotation of camshafts. day before the timing belt goes off i had the whole tune up (used ngk parts). So i can be sure that there is a fuel pressure good and the spark is good enough.
In one of the posts i found sentence where somebody sad "But just don't use the arrow and you'll be good."
So now im kind of confused how to set it up... If you need any information please post me a reply i will be more than happy to help you help me. i can send you pictures also i have the book for this car and all kind of staff like that just cant figure it out how to set it up. thanks for your time
