I'll be doing my EJ22 turbo setup this summer and I'm not looking at running more than 5-6 psi.

I have a TD04 in good condition so I'm looking to swap the wastegate actuator from it (Read its an 8-10psi one) for a VF11 one (Read its a 5-6psi one).

So anyone that may be looking to add a little more boost to their VF11/Turbo Legacy, this should be a virtually cost free option!

I'm located in Timonium MD and willing to meet up to a reasonable distance and possibly ship if we could work something out.

My td04 wastegate opens at 6-7 psi. Just saying. I'm not selling.

Well I read that the newer TD04's (06/07) open at that setting but everyone says that the 02-05 TD04's open at 9-10psi

I'm in the same boat turboing my ej22 na. I got myself a 05 wrx td04.

But from what I'm finding, although the wastgate is at like 8-10psi once it's all hooked up don't be surprised if your boost gauge is only showing like 6psi.

Well that is what I have found from searching online, not to sure if it's right but seems like it makes sence. I mean u gotta lose some preasure somewhere, unless u got the most amazing and perfect set up ever.

Remember though from year to year they have different size restrictor pills so in some cases wastegate boost was dependent of the restrictor pill.

Your wastegate solenoid I'm pretty sure restricts the boost levels.

I'm not sure exactly what the boost solenoid does but I'm pretty sure you don't need it because the wastegate opens on its set pressure level.
