Anyone installed a Shift kit on the 4EAT?

Any pics?

Is it possible to do without a complete overhaul by just dropping the valve body and pan?

There was a video of a guy launching his legacy with one of those shift kits. I forget what it's called but that was a fast legacy. Should be on the forum somewhere if you search for whatever that shift kit is called.

I bought transgo shift kit and a transcooler but have yet to install it. I got the kit off ebay for $42, I might install it this weekend if I feel like getting under the car.

Derek's (whitelegacyguy) car had a transmission with MUCH more done to it than just the Trans-Go kit. It can be reproduced, but costs a hefty amount.

You are altering how fluid pressure is applied to the clutches in the transmission.

If swapping a transmission is pushing it in terms of your ability, then this reprogramming kit will be WAY out of reach. You must go deep inside the transmission to complete the installation, along with drilling some holes that might leave some people very uncomfortable.
