I have the cable type clutch arm which is a push type clutch. I've just pulled off the transmission to swap it for another to find the clutch is worn a little(bummer). Seeing as I need the car for Monday I was searching for a clutch disc only(The flywheel and pressure plate are good) I've found several clutch discs locally but most are the pull type clutch disc and 225mm. Will the pull type clutch disc work with the push type pressure plate?

If there is any size difference, mainly the disk being larger, I don't believe it will work. There may be other issues why it wouldn't work, but the size is the biggy since if the disk is too large it may hit the pressure plate.

Measuring the pressure plate/flywheel surface I have enough room for at least 225mm Actually it measures 228mm My clutch disc is 215mm which might explain why it lasted on 16,000miles with my 2.5L set up.

To widen my range what other Subaru's use the cable clutch?

Calling ACT they say these disc's will fit.

Thanks for the offer but I've ordered the ACT 6 pad Impreza RS clutch.

Installed the Clutch and tranny and all seems well. I did a quick look at my old tranny and found a broken selector fork....amazing I could still find the gears!
