hey , i have a 91 legacy turbo 4eat, if i picked this up (i live in tacoma) what else would i need to do a swap and in your opinion would it be worth it ?

You would need a Turbo trans case driveline Turbo pedals clutch master and slave. You should be able to get a bad ss trans for real cheap. 5 speed swap is well worth ot

this is probably a dumb question - but any way to tell what the transmission / diff ratio is without removing it from the car?
I have no third gear, but my car is still drivable so I was hoping to avoid pulling the transmission until I had the replacement parts.

There's a white sticker on the bellhousing by your starter that has a code. Google the code.
