Quick verification, but the rear sub frame is identical between the wagon and the sedan legacies right? 90-94
Thanks
Matt

For the same year, yes.
There are very slight differences between pre- and post- facelift cars (IIRC).

Oooh...well I have a 90 Sedan, turbo swapped, and I was going to pick up the whole assy from a 92 turbo wagon. Hmm.....

What kind of subtle differences are we talking here? I'm replacing a slightly tweaked subframe, along with bent spindle (likely), hubs. It'd obviously be preferred if I can get these all in one go
All input much appreciated! Looking to pick this up this weekend, thanks!

None of the chassis hard points changed. If you look at a WRX without its body panels, minus some superficial sheet metal to attach the different styled front ends, they look the same. I'll be using WRX rear parts when I eventually convert Duchess to RWD. That 92 will bolt in and work. Any differences are probably down to slight improvements to rigidity learned over the intervening years.

The lateral links and rear anti sway bars changed during the facelift. I cannot say for certain the subframe itself did, but I would be wary.
If you deal with the whole assembly, then it all will fit the chassis - no problem.

Sweet. Did the lateral links change in length / dimensions or sway bar mounts or something else?
My plan (if it all goes well *fingers crossed) is just that, pick up and swap in the whole assy; including subframe, spindles, axles, lat links. Replace hubs and bearings with new units.
I'm trying to do this as easily and inexpensively as possible, heh
Thanks, Matt

The lateral links changed from whatever crappy version they were called to the style that takes the C Shaped endlinks...
I was kind of bummed when i saw my 92 has the stupid lateral links and my wife's 94 TW has the c style endlinks
