what injectors?

what injectors would be ideal for my set up? boosted 93 legacy l 2.2l
-td04
-3in catless down pipe
-3in catless cat back
-impreza rs headers
-custom 2in uppipe
-3in cold air intake
-delta 220's
-wrx top mount
-mani spacers
-perrin pully
currently running on totaly stock em. acually its running very well. its had 93 octane since the day the turbo was put on. on 5pi it pulls hard with more then enough power, deffinatly fastttt.
I will be installing a walbro fuel pump in the next few weeks, I just feel the stock injectors and fuel pump must be maxxing out or extremly close to it.
so what injectors fit? I dont want to go to large and have fuel just running right through making it run overly rich. idealy I want to run 8psi once I get some sort of engine mangment but for right now I just want to make sure shes not maxing out everything.
so how much larger should I go? what injectors will drop right in without breaking the bank. also will the stock ecu support larger injectors? or will em be 100% mandatory to run larger injectors?

Hi,
You're going to be in trouble if you add more fuel and PSi to your setup. (Although DougV/REDDEVIL would disagree - read up on his exploits in the NA world.)
If this is your only car you may be walking, since you're rolling the dice w/MORE.
From my reading, you're running a great NA>>Turbo setup @ 5 psi. Any more and pistons will be hating it.
I KNOW the 'boost addiction', trust me.
If you must go bigger, get a wideband and knock detection. Tuning WILL (edit: MIGHT) keep you safe, but you have to know what's happening under the hood.
I'm only aware of the STi 550 yellow side-feeds fitting your fuel rails. The SS turbo's rails for the 370cc's are different and will also fit the JDM 440/480's....I don't know if your NA ECU can handle anything bigger. I would recommend EM.
Edit: Another option is a rising-rate fuel pressure regulator (RRFPR) - search on(line) here.

depending on what size injectors N/A are you might be able to get away with some turbo legacy pink tops... those can probably be had for 50 bucks here.
But like wtdash said, you're going to be cutting it pretty close without monitoring some very important things here.

i got a wideband afr gauge coming in the mail. so atleast I can keep tabs on that. I already got a boost gauge. engine mangment is coming in due time. Im still reaserching but ill probably end up going with a full stand alone. any sugestions for em?
from what Im finding my stock injectors flow 280cc, they get maxed out at like 6psi. honestly Im perfectly happy where Im at right now. the car is deffinatly fast, like I have no real need for more speed. Im hoping once I get this afr gauge hooked up that it will be in the proper range, if so Im gonna leave everything where its at and continue enjoying the boosted 2.2l. is this safe to do if everything is within specs and the car runs well?
but would putting in larger injectors be a good idea in general so my stock ones arnt getting consistanly maxxed out?
so legacy turbo injectors will fit my 93 na fuel rail? is it dependent on the year the rails come out of?
sorry im full of questions hah I just wana make sure my car continues to run well

@ the risk of repeating myself:

If your AFR's turn out OK - you'll want to be <11.5:1 when in boost (if not Richer due to your higher CR)- you should just enjoy it....@ least til your transmission says 'no more'.
I 'think' the Revscan software, and others, works w/the NA cars, too. This might allow you to monitor your Injectors. You can download it from the Revtronix site (after the 1st of the month when the site 'resets') or I can email you a copy. You'll still need to make or buy a USB cable to work w/the
Subaru Select Monitor port under the dash.

I'd suggest finding out what your current AFR's are. If you're ok with the current AFR's stick with what you have until you get engine management. Sticking in larger injectors with the stock EM is just going to make it run like poop off boost.
IMO a RRFPR would be the best interim solution.

What Josh said. Otherwise, you are rolling the dice. An RRFPR works though.
