Got AAMCO to agree to rebuild the trans on warranty, I knew she was going to be gone a while so I stripped off the Tail wing, having gotten sick of Chasing the delaminating paint with touch up, Sanded her down, To local Schmucks didnt have anything close to a color match so I went black.








Was doubt full at first, hell I was downright reluctant at the idea of going black. But... doesnt look bad really. Now im trying to decide if I should respray the wing white when I find some good paint, or reinstall the black hoodscoop.



Thoughts?

Spray it white but only if you can color match the OEM paint. Then paint your roof black. Leave the scoop white. Then black out the chrome.

I say black scoop, black wing, black roof, and black out the chrome. I didn't know you had a 25th anniversary edition too, that makes three on the forum.

You could do black from the body line, up. That would be different.
