Not a fan of different color trunks or hoods but it looks like you did a good job painting it. It looks like you went overboard with the RTV sealant. I hope you don't clog anything up with the pieces that are going to come off inside from using too much.

looks good, but if it were me, id black the side moldings back out, and the strips on the bumpers. getting those door handles out and in is fun huh?

looks very good, and whinestone is one of my favorite colors. all you need now is some glass head lights and fog lights and you'll be set.

The parts shed should have a set of two for sale. They run about $330 shipped from across the atlantic. They are a nice but I have not convinced myself they're worth that much.

Reminds me of my 83 GL. Did the hood and trunk, but not the roof.

I know that place, Wentworth Subaru, what happened to the GL Steve? I thought you were doing an STI swap on it?

Me? A huge chunk of tree fell on it while I was driving down the street. Still drove it for a few months until I got the wagon, but that did sign its death warrant, especially with the scarce parts availability even back in 1998 when I had to junk it. The furthest I'd go on a GL, if it were a hardtop, would be an EJ22 and rwd.
