what a great find and thanks for sharing. i have watched a lot of vids on youtube but have never seen that one. its amazing to see how tight that car is, like no flex what so ever and with him behind the wheel he just mastered it so effortlessly.

hmm...watching these makes me wonder 2 things was there ever a face lifted WRC ver. and was the legacy the only rally car back then to rally without a wing? in thinking about it the galant VR-4 celica GT-four and others had rear wings...i wonder why subaru decided not to use one. it might have helped the understearing problem they where having

No. The Legacy only rallied in the pre facelift version and in Group A class. WRCar came in 1997.

Group A rules states that only (some) oem part can be used. The Legacy RS-RA didn't come with a spoiler.
Anyway, that spoiler in useless for aerodynamics. It's only good to add weight he car.
All the other car of that era are using the oem wing.
