Quick but weird question. Is there any way that the throttle body can be rotated 180 degrees on the intake manifold?
I'm swapping my ej22t nto a Volkswagen and the engine maintains the same orientation in the engine bay but my throttle cable is on the opposite side to that of the stock Subaru location.

You'd likely have to cut off the ports for the coolant bypass through the throttle body, unless you have room. You'd also have to redo/extend the wiring for the TPS on the other side and fab up a mount for the throttle cable. There may be some clearance issues with the throttle cable and IAC valve & PCV hoses.

As josh said, there's a little bit of work but it can be done. Mine is rotated
