Black goo sealant found on tail lights....where to get some

There is a black sealant that's found on the tail lights to seal them against the car body. Does anybody know what that stuff is, or where to find it new? It's also used to seal up the AC evaporator box, and I'd like to put some on the joints before I put the new box in.
Thanks

Ok, I'll search online and see if I can come up with a name. I think it'd be funny to walk into the autoparts store and ask for some elephant poop.
Me: "Excuse me sir, do you have any elephant poop?"
Autoparts store Jockey: *Blank Stair* "What...?"
Hahaha

I would try an auto body supply place. I don't know what you call that stuff, but that's where I got seam sealer and metal bonding epoxy. If you have a place like the guys near me, they'd be able to figure out what you're talking about by the description.

It's just strip caulk and 3m and other places make it. Go to an auto body supply place like he said and they should have it. It's not nearly as messy/stringy as the Subaru stuff either

Talked to a buddy who does body work last night, he confirmed it's just strip caulk and has some I can use

A side note. When I was installing we used two types. The butyl tape is very "hard" for lack of a better word and less pliable if you are trying to form it into a hole or something. We used 3M Strip-Calk (Part No: 051135-08578) for 99% of the stuff we did when going through exposed sheet metal etc. Its 10 times easier to work with. Also, this is the stuff used to hold the plastic vapor barriers on door panels. If cost was a factor or availability I'd use either personally to seal off tail lights

Butyl tape came to mind, but the stuff I've used for sealing outdoor connections on cell antennas is definitely too hard to use to seal headlights unless you maybe heated it up first. In the cold, it's resistant to even sticking to itself. We'd warm it with our hands to get it to form to the connector, then we'd wrap it in electrical tape.
