Seatbelt light flashing

92 Legacy LS. It has the Automatic seat belts but they don't around the door anymore. Not sure why.

The seat belt light CONSTANTLY flashes. What is the deal here.

i am having the same problem, havent really ttried so hopeully someoe can help us both out. hav you messed with the dash recently. i took mine out and thats when it started doing this.

I think the owners manual says when they do that they need to be adjusted. Do you have the allen wrench in the lid of the center box? Theres a service cap at the bottom of the b pillar, a small round one, that has an adjustment screw behind it. They might just need to be adjusted.

That screw is to move the seat belt by hand, there is no adjustment you can make.

Unfortunately the automatic seatbelts are heavy into the electrical. They have multiple limit switches and there's timers in the seatbelt computer where if doesn't receive a signal from a limit switch after a specific amount of time, it will throw a code.

The first step is checking the computer for codes. It's not real difficult, you just need to find the connector for the auto seatbelt computer under the dash, and then follow the instructions on how to put it in diagnostic mode. Once you do that, you can figure out what the computer is seeing and help you with the diagnosis.

try fuse #27 in the main fuse box just checked my for another issue and guess what, BINGO. fixed
