got some progress.

installed hydro pedal assembly

transaxle

rear diff (viscous lsd .. gay..)

motor

ready to fire up motor! bummer dead battery from sitting on the concrete!

once this ride is ripping there will be a high quality rally video from my friends go pro sports camera.

tapped starter bolt hole for M12x1.25 to hold starter on bottom since my block is only 4 bolt and trany is 8 bolt

Image

drill srater for bigger bolt

sti ver6 5speed transaxle

Welcome to the BBS.

Yeah getting the steering column out of the way helps a lot in getting the hydro pedal assembly in.

You should've gone DOHC while the motor was out. I jumped frome a 2.0l dohc to 2.2l sohc, and man do i miss the dohc. Big difference. SO got a dohc in the works.

i want to build a ej22 with wrx heads.

update!

wrx driveshaft is about 2 inches too short! so i guess the next option is to swap the pinion tail flange from my old rear..
