Ive got a 1994 legacy awd wagon and I let a friend borrow it two days later its stuck at the bar and won't move. I know a little about cars but would really appreciate the help. The clutch depresses like it normally would looks like everything is working from the outside. Same with the transmission, feels like its working fine linkage is visually working fine. But when the car is running i can put it in any gear and it doesn't move, even when I use the clutch. Any gear any combination of clutch and transmission and the car will not move at all. Hopefully someone has some answers thanks.

Welcome to the BBS.
Do you hear any noises or change in engine/transmission pitch when in gear?
Is the gear shifter lever real sloppy or can you feel the gears engaging?

A broken axle will cause the car to not move.

Josh no noise and yes the shifter has the normal slop.

To Damon's point, have you looked at the axle shafts while in gear and clutch out to see if anything is spinning?
Also, to confirm this 94 has a cable clutch correct? Are you seeing the clutch fork move when the clutch pedal is depressed?

Yes I have looked at the axles and there not spinning. The clutch fork is operating properly. And yes it is a cable clutch.

Have you taken the clutch fork boot off to see if you can see down into the bell housing? I would start there to see if you can determine whether the clutch fork, pressure plate, etc are operating correctly.
If everything's working correctly, then it's likely an issue internal to the transmission. If that's the case, drain the oil and see if you notice any metal pieces in the oil or stuck on the drain plug magnet.

I have looked at everything you have suggested and everything is in working as it should. I will be removing the tranny at some point today and will post pics of what I find. It happens to be pouring rain here today. So I'm not to sure I wanna deal with it lol. Thank you for all your help
