tranmission swapping

hey guys i have a jdm 92 legacy rs gt , but my gearbox (had a manual conversion so i dont know the code) thas been raped to the days , at the local wreakers theres a gearbox out of a 92 vz type r legacy (trans code TY752VD2AA) and im wondering if it wil bolt straight in and run without any hassels if anyone no's ,that would amassive help cheers

Hi,
According to the
SPD Chart yours is probably a 4.11 FD ratio. You're sure the code is missing from your trans?
And I think you typo'd the '92 Type R: should it be a 'B' vs a 'D' = TY752V

Regardless, it should work...Only if the FD ratio is wrong - could be a 4.44 or 3.9 - will there be an issue. Check your rear diff. Should be labeled.

yea the trans code is an automatic , the rear diff is 4.11 ratio.
