ABS Light

Hi there. I was wondering how to read the abs light codes for my 94 legacy ss.

I have tried these places on info on how to do it and failed... The connectors are never there....

The connectors are definitely very difficult to find, but they are there. If you can't find the connectors, the other option would be to use the Subaru select monitor (diagnostic reader) to pull the codes from the ABS computer. You'd have to go to the Subaru dealer.

I have also been told or heard that there is a small green LED light you can see on the ABS computer under the passenger seat. There's a little flap of carpet that can be flipped up to see the light. This may be on the 90-91 MY's, but may not be on the 92-94's. You'll just have to check and see if it's there.

Tho the green light on the abs computer is not on my car... mines a 94....

But on the flip side i did figure it out how to get the codes out of the ABS computer!

There is a white male connector that is under the drivers kick panel. You just need to ground out a pin and you do the light dance for your codes.

So i have a faulty LF sensor.

I have the same issue. i did a front axle, now my light is on. ill check the sensor the see if i damaged it at all.
