What kind of offset would i need to run to get a 8" wheel to fit? I know i would need some massaging of the fenders most likely. The wheel i am currently looking at my choices are either +25 or +35

No shit? Are you on coils? or is there room to run that much backspace? I was hoping to run something concave ish.
I was really hoping to run 8" wheel with a +25 offset. Doesn't seem like ill be able to do that.

That would bring the wheel out more right? You'd be in the fenders then. I had to roll mine and on hard turns it rubs on the frame of the car a little. I'm lowered a lot on coilovers.

so i would probably be ok w/ +35. If you are rubbing frame w/ inside of the tire you could go a little more positive. I have some RPF1s in 17x8 +35 for my other car. Ill have to test fit them when i get the car.

Yeah but plan on some major fender rolling and most likely flaring them out. You'll need a fender rolling tool for that.

This isn't my first time putting to big of wheel in too small of fender. Thanks. Im currently trying to hunt down some used coils. This thing is to high for my taste.

ive done 17x8 with a +45 offset with a 245-40-17 tire, and 18x8.5 +44 offset with a 235 40 tire and only had to do minor rolling to make everything clear.

Thanks. I guess the easiest check will be to try and throw my 17x8 +35 wheels on. See what kind of room i have to work with.

Guys, I have 17X8 with a 48 offset as well, but am running 235/45r17 and the fenders are stripping the outer edges of my tires, mostly in the front, not so much in the back...what can I do to fix this problem?
thanks,
BatLegacy

Roll your fenders to give you more clearance or put on a narrower rim.
Depending on how close you are to the strut, you could try and find rims with a higher offset that would suck the wheel in towards the strut. But you could then be rubbing on the strut.

25 is too low. Why not go with a 8.5 or 9in wheel with a higher offset? I'm running a 17x9 with 38 offset. Guy in the middle has 17x8.5 with similar offest. White sedan is 17x8 with unknown offset, but Im assuming its 40ish.

/Whoring. Those pictures are good references to what each wheel size looks like. If it was me I'd go wider with a higher offset.
