Hi guys, anybody ever installed a HID kit on a 92 legacy or anythin similar? Got my kit this morning and tested it as per the instructions. High beams work fine but not the lows. Can nybody help? Thx.

How did you test them?... Installed? Which headlight is the main harness hooked up to? Are your grounds good?

If they are installed make sure you're getting power to your factory low beam harness.

If everything checks out and still no low beams it's probably a fault with the HID kit.... or it's only a single beam kit :?

Yeah, tested by just connectin the wires. The ground was good and low n high beam wires had power too. I was able to figure it out on another forum where a guy had the same prob; the solution was simple: invert the polarity of the connectors to the ballasts. Thanks nyway bud.

So did you guys that have a kit do a retro fit? If so what did you use for housings? I want to do a retrofit but the plastic on the front of these is hideous. A retro fit would be a waste of effort.

If you are just putting HIDs in the factory housing disregard.
