I know this topic has been beaten to death so don't kill me but I was wondering if these coilovers will mount without problems onto my car.

I'm about 95% sure they will it's just nice to get a for sure yes or no answer.

Thanks!

Welcome to the BBS.

I don't necessarily have a definitive answer for you, but since the coilovers have a rather large application window I'm not sure if they'd fit without modifications that are mentioned in this thread for 05+ struts.

Thanks! I've actually been a long time lurker but this is the first time I kind of needed a specific answer.

So do you think ill possibly need new top hats? or what else?

I really don't have much experience with the newer struts, so I'd just be going off what it is in the sticky thread. Hopefully others will chime in with their thoughts.

Got them shipped to my house and installed. The rear shock tower holes needed to be drilled out a little bit to fit but there in! I'm going to roll my fenders soon because they were rubbing a little bit in the rear with a 200 pound guy in the back seat while taking corners.

how are you liking them? i actually have them on my forester. i knew i wasnt doing anything track related i just wanted these for a slammed look. i find they are AMAZING for the price lol makes my forester handle a lot better yet not too rough for street application. i have a legacy as well its good to know these will work on them too. did you rotate the coilover in the back? maybe the bolts just needed to be rotated in oder for them to fit

No they wouldnt fit in the back so I was forced to drill out the holes a little bit and run a washer on top so I still get a good mating surface. But I like it. car is really stiff and handles pretty good now.

Post some pics of your wagon, i'd love to see what kind of stance you can get with those.
I'm looking to get a set of these for my wagon as well.
There's been a lot of debate about the raceland/rokkor coilovers.
This is the best review i've ever seen on them, and it's what convinced me to buy a set.

coilovers meant for a 93-01 Impreza will bolt in directly, btw.

I don't have anything nice to say about that particular brand.

I posted some pictures of my car in other places on this forum. The coilovers are fair. you kind of get what you pay for. but I dont have to many regrets.

The guy seems to think they are decent. I might be convinced. I really want to get rid of my "saggy butt" syndrome that I have right now. I did see a mention of agx/eibach springs. What springs? How much does it lower? I feel going the coilover route would allow for some adjustability.

That's not a bad price at just under $500. I know you get what you pay for but they seem to be decent. I'm looking to spend at least that much on a new/gently-used setup but I've no idea what to get.
