I have a matching pair of leather seats for a 93 legacy wanting to trade for something lighter. They are in good condition with a small tear thats been repaired. I only need a passenger side. THe drivers side I have for trade has no bottom mount as i used it with my recaro. all offers considered. located in northern arizona but travel to so cal often.

What color? Are they height adjustable? When you say lighter, are you looking for some aftermarket something or just stock seats? I'm in Havasu...

Not sure anyone on here is going to know what they look like, pics are needed, due o the fact there was never stock leather SS seats. They made leather for the lsi, not the SS.

My SS came with all leather seats front and rear but i bought it from the local subaru service manager so possibly he special ordered it. I am going to keep them, although theyre really heavy.

usdm did not not from the plant they made the cars and shipped them from, not for the SS. yes for lsi.

Maybe some clairification, SS means sport sedan, which is the turbo version. not the regular NA sedan.

no way in hell did a us factory turbo car (a SS, a sport sedan, etc) have leather from the assembly line. was not even optional.

probably a port installed option. like the safari package in the 95-99 legacys which included port installed leather non heated seats and some stickers.

And no. Leather was NOT a MANUFACTURER Option. I have both the 93 and 94 Dealer Brochure. However I do know that some dealers had them installed at the buyers request. Thats why there are some SS and Touring Wagons with Black or Grey Leather interiors.

My 94 ss came with black leather/interior.

Sometimes when we are hungry, we are more emotional and irritable. Go eat, drink a beer, you will be much more mellow. Stock from the factory, the SS did not have full leather seats. The LSI did have leather, so seat swaps could have been done after purchase, of course. Most dealers will work with a local upholsterer to re cover in leather before you take delivery of a new vehicle, if you want to pay for it.

It's not out of the question that the window sticker referred to the seats as leather, even though just the bolsters were leather.

Might be better to say, "for sale, leather seats to fit Legacy".
