Hello again group,

Thanks again to all who replied to the original post regarding the 91
Legacy Sport Sedan with the fried engine. BTW, Jason, I'm from
Columbus, Ohio, dont know how close you are!

I have decided to go ahead and have this work done, I just hate
to see this car go to the scrap heap. On the recommendation of a
machine shop, I am dealing with the Engine Exchange here in Columbus.
Actually the replacement engine has 81,000 miles and cost 1k, its the
installation that is the other grand. It has a one year warranty if
they do the install. If anyone knows anything about this outfit, any
input would be appreciated, as I still have a week or so before they
start work! I know that sounds like a waste of cash to all you
mechanics, but I just dont have the inclination to attempt such a
project. (Besides, golf season is here!!) My biggest automotive
repair to this point was replacing a waterpump in a 67 Chevy Belair!

Anyway, the 91 Legacy will live on.

Tom
