Yeah I've seen that in a science class in high school. Cool stuff but apparently you don't want to breathe the gas from this stuff.

If the valves are not damaged, they're fine to handle.

No most are not. I'm not sure why but I think its for performance and either some stis have them or jdm ej20k engines.

The sodium disperses heat better than a solid metal stem.
