Ive got a basic ball/spring boost controller with ceramic bearing controlling boost on my 92 SS. Works like a champ 95% of the time but when ever I go around a corner and gas it, hoping to get the back end out some my boost just dies, almost acts like my FCD is not connected, but then when I pull my foot off the gas and am going straight it then lets me get on boost and acts like nothings wrong. I dont get it. Im going to check my boost lines. Has anyone had this problem before?

typically happen when your gas tank is low? replaced the oem fuel pump yet? yes, this happened to me. then once I replaced it with a walbro, no longer a problem.

I'll second the suggestion that it's fuel starvation.

Does it happen on both left and right corners? If it only happens when you're turning right, it's probably the fuel moving over to the left side of the tank, out of reach of the pump.

A higher-flow fuel pump will help the operation of the jet pump that equalizes fuel levels left-to-right.

Most definitely sounds like a fuel pump.
