First of all I would like to say hellow to everyone and thank the stars that this forum for first gen Legacy's exists!!!

So I have had the car for just about a week now and have been reading this forum like crazy. I found that there was a big oil leak but didnt freak once I saw that the pvc tubes were all wrong. The breather vent in the top of the block was just open and ding dong just ran a tube straight from the pvc to the inlet boot... In trying to fix the issue I broke the stock inlet boot and found a ton of junk wrong with the intake and I am now trying to locate/buy a oem or after market inlet boot ( found oem boot on www.subarugenuineparts.com ) and locate/buy a good intake to connect to the inlet boot. I found a post here of a impreza Apexi intake on ebay but cannot find again here or on ebay again. Any ideas/part sites/or parts that any forum members might have for sale would be a great help.

Stock intake elb's might turn to gold over night!

There's probably still some floating around out there. I've gotten parts that were supposedly unavailable. Certain warehouses/dealers will hold onto things. So it can't hurt to do a little checking.

Yeah... The Subaru dealer I work with just did a 10k mile search and came up with nada... I will keep looking but this is not a good start with my new toy.
