I want to replace my entire stock strut/spring setup as it has 300k miles on it now. I have read that the 93-01 impreza mounts will work, is this my only direct option? I found b+g s2 sport springs that will be paired with AGX's or GR-2's. I just want to get the stiffest possible setup w/o switching to wrx components, so where do i find the stiffer group n top hats/ mounts?

Boxer4racing has them also.
You can go with legacy struts, strut top mounts, 02-03 WRX springs and 02-03 top hats.
Would give you more of an option for springs.
( I am going this route)

I found some B&G sport springs (1.5inch drop) on ebay for cheap and im thinking about getting them instead of wrxing it up. i did find 02-07 wrx springs and struts dirt cheap on craigslist too. I can get a set of group n wrx top hats for 100 bucks on nasioc, but the B&G 1st gen legacy specific springs with gr2's and group n tophats and mounts seems like it might be the way for me.

I guess I'll just bump this thread for my question as it's related to these Group N tophats as I have them on my current suspension.
When I swapped the suspension over from my other Legacy wagon (broken transmission) into my current one, I somehow sheared/broke one of my studs on the of the rear top hats. I installed the suspension anyway and have been driving with it like that since July ish and haven't had any issues.
I've decided that I want to replace my suspension to raise the rear up and lower the front to make the wheel gap look even all the way around.
So my question is, should I replace just the one top hat with broken stud? Or is it better to replace in pairs? Or do I just replace the stud?

If you can press out the broken stud and get a stud from a used top hat, I'd go that route to save you some money.
If you have/want to replace the top hat, since they're probably relatively new and stiff, you should be ok with just replacing the one top hat.
