What later model rear knuckles (AWD) fit a 90 Legacy?

I'm having a hard time to finding the rear knuckles with bearings for my 1990 Legacy so I was wondering if any later model knuckles will fit?

Bug eye WRX rear knuckles will bolt on. However, the design is slightly different, so suspension geometry might be altered a little bit.

Thanks...what year is the Bug eye? I currently have 04 STI struts on the rear which i keep meaning the adjust the geometry so maybe the bug eye knuckle will help?

The bug eye imprezas are 02-03. The Impreza knuckles should fit up until at least 05. 06 was when Subaru did the major redesign.

ALL of them are the same except for the new multi-link cars and sti.

STi knuckles have a different e-brake and bigger hubs/bearings that don't match up to the axles (even on the 5x100 04 sti)

Your alignment issue comes from the sti having a wider track, not the upright itself, so using parts from a wrx or whatever will not change anything. The 02-07 sedans have longer control arms, lateral links, and axles so the holes in the struts are drilled differently.

I slotted my front struts and put in rear camber bolts to get the alignment where I wanted. For a rally car I would slot the struts and then weld washers onto them so nothing could move, and you'd want to slot the lower front hole out to retain the stock camber bolt. 1mm of slotting gains almost 1 degree of camber.

so any rear disc upright from these cars will work:
90-99 Legacy
93-07 Impreza
96-99 Outback
98-08 Forester

As always you are a source of info. If I was to buy the complete Knuckle/hub what spinples are the same as the NA Legacy?

Would a 04 STI work if I change the hub? looks the same from the photos.

no. that's the one thing that doesn't work. the hub and bearing are larger on the sti (yes even the 5x100 sti). A regular hub that works with R160 axles won't fit in the sti bearing, the regular 5x100 bearing doesn't fit in the sti upright, plus I don't know for sure the 1-pot backing plate will even fit on it.

You've still got my email address right?

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy just the bushing for the bottom of the knuckle, or do I have to buy a whole knuckle? Car in question is 93 Legacy, and part number two is the bushing I speak of:

Yes, you can buy just the bushings for the knuckle and control arms.
