The 25D heads lower the compression ratio, and will require using the matching 25D intake manifold. Depending on how much you want to put into things to make it work right, I'd suggest as an alternative to pick up some used ej22t heads. They should be pretty easy to find and cheap. It would be worth getting the heads resurfaced and a valve job done on the motor. If you want you could get some Delta cams that would help those heads breathe a little better.

i also have a set of 205 heads and intake manifold. would i just need an ecu to run them?

I think that would probably work. I'm not sure about the CR change, but the 205 heads & intake manifold are probably the best route assuming the CR doesn't change much. You'll need the 205 injectors, which I believe are the 440's, and the ECU.
