So the driveshaft in my 93 5mt is out of a 93 or 94 auto wagon. i had it worked on at a machine shop to get it to fit. It has worked for years, but i have always noticed a winding when i let off the gas and idle down from speeds of 30+mph. Are there any aftermarket driveshaft options? Am i just looking for things to remove and inspect? Any feedback helps!

I've seen them for STIs and one for a GC the other day on NASIOC that was custom made but they go for $700+ I think.

Why not just get another 5mt drive shaft to replace your custom one.

I just bought an aluminum DS from driveshaft shop for my wrx and found out they are made to order. They may be able to custom make one for a leggy. I paid 480 shipped and I think it's 14lbs...
