I happen to disconect my negative battery cable on my legacy, and now she runs like ass. misfires, sputters, chockes out, dies every now and again.

now its done this a whille back when I diconected the battery, I just let her sit overnight and retryed her in the morning and all was well, I guess the re set procedure was a little goofed or something. but anyways I have tryed letting her sit over night multiple times and no go still running like crap. I even drove her around for 2 weeks thinking it would relearn but yet again nothing.

I even tryed dicounecting fuse 14 like 15 times and still nothing still runs like shit. the egi/at or whatever fuse it was.

now whats weird I took the fuse out, and for the hell of it tryed starting it and she fired right up, still ran like crap though. but shouldent removing this fuse not alow the car to run?

so whats going on? is my ecm screwed up? seems weird that a car would go from running fantastic to total ass by simply diconecting the battey.

The proper method to reset the ECU is - http://legacycentral.org/library/literature/codes.htm

If you had a scan tool or laptop, you could connect to the ECU and possibly find out why the car is running like crap -- a sensor, connection or stored CEL could give insight.

What modifications do you have done to the car?

Fuse 14 is the backup power supply. The car will start and ECU run with that fuse removed, the ECU will just not retain any learned information.
