This guy goes from the turbo to the AWIC inlet. Because of the odd sizes, I can't find any generic solution that will allow for clean use of the stock BPV. I would need to fab up something, and I much prefer to go the OEM route if its readily available than to fab something.

Worse comes to worse SAMCO makes one for the slanty IC that I can cut to fit perfectly, that I might consider plunking too much money for if I can't find the OEM unit.

i would try checking for the part number some of these parts can still be ordered thru a dealer online. I got a few choice items for my 90 RS-RA this way

I strongly doubt that this part would be available through SOA since its specific to the 89-92 Legacy.EJ20G engine.

Regardless, if I could find a P/N I'd check just to see. I guess my best bet is to ask on a UK/AU forum... (Or an overseas member could chime in and make my life real easy, lol)

I ordered the Samco V1-V2 intercooler hose from RallySportDirect not long after I made that last post. It just showed up this past week. Don't expect to be installing your intercooler in 2 weeks after you order this if you go that route. Or 4 weeks. Or 6 weeks. But it's here now, and with one end lopped off it fits perfect.

Only just seen this but I could have helped as I have 3 complete awic systems!

There are two much nicer and lesser expensive solutions IMO.

1. Have a nipple of the appropriate size and have it welded and have it welded to the back of the metal inlet tube on the AWIC. Then you can have the BPV in essentially the same location as stock.
2. By a flange meant for the standard MY02+ WRX BPV similar to this http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/4320/dscf79154su.jpg then you can use a much more reliable and easy to find valve.

This way you can use your choice of silicone and piping to directly connect the turbo to the awic without using a hard to find or expensive part. It also declutters the already crowded area. I actually have an AWIC with some old school valve welded on in this fashion straight from JDM land

Ciper - The part I got is identical to the stock JDM inlet once you cut off the extra 90* bend at the end. It's black silicon and hooks up perfectly and puts the bypass valve almost exactly where I need it (angle is a tad off due to differences in the 22T and 20G turbo inlet elbow, but a curved hose will fix it). It's by no means a cluttered or not-nice looking solution. I thought about modifying the core to add a bung, but I really wanted to avoid that so I can resell it for full value if I ever move to something else. That, and most bung weld jobs I see are by no means OEM quality.

Really the only downside to buying this hose is the cost and order fulfillment time (which I didn't know about when I ordered).
