Please don't.
The lines of the two cars are very different, doesn't match the look of the car at all.

I found a guy on here that did a RS bumper with a STi lip and it looked pretty sweet

Doesn't look bad to me. I think the post-facelift may be more apt at pulling it off, being slightly more "curvy", but just my opinion. The Stuntman Mike paint-scheme helps as well!

Its the big wing on the back throwin it off. maybe the front lip is too "lippy"

A little off-topic, but I put a '99 OBS bumper on my Outback Wagon and I thought that ended up looking awesome, wouldn't mind seeing if the same goes for a post-facelift 1st gen as well....

I like that OBS bumper on the Outback! I always thought the stock Outback bumper was a little on the clunky side.
