*when installing my boost gauge i saw the hose going to the intake manifold nipple had a crack. So i switched the hose and ziptied it. No more fuel cut. Thanks everyone*

So i have a 95 impreza L with a ej22t swapped in. wiring merge was done by Brian at Iwire from rs25. Everything is stock on the engine except: 06 wrx intercooler, 06 wrx turbo, 3" Catback, 3" Downpipe, and the resonator box was deleted with something similar to the coffee cup. Also the stock ej22t BPV was used with the 06 intercooler.

I ran my vacuum lines with vrg3's diagram...

http://www.surrealmirage.com/vrg3/vacuu ... vacuum.png

and using his following statement...

"Put a check valve in hose E, H, or I that only allows flow towards the throttle body. Then you can remove the auxiliary purge valve, the tee, and hoses C, D, P, and Q (though hose B may need to be a little longer). You can then cap the nipple on the resonator and the charcoal canister.

Also, you can disconnect hose J from the resonator and stick a filter on the end instead. Then you can cap the nipple on the resonator. "

Pics below can be clicked on

Why am I having what feels to be fuel cut at about 4300?

In the pic below you see part of vrg3's suggestions. the left nipple of the canister has a hose with a bolt on the end to plug it. and the next nipple has a valve that should work as a "check valve"

Your vacuum line setup looks ok. Do you have any CEL's? I'm assuming you're running the ej22t ECU correct?

I wouldn't use a FCD to bypass whatever issue you have. You need to try and figure what the problem is. Any additional information you can provide will help.

BTW, what boost are you seeing when you hit the 4500 rpm limit?

Yup, you need a FCD. I've got an unused one for sale in the parts shed too ;)
