wondering if anyone has put a 02 wrx steering column in a touring wagon?

I haven't heard of anyone doing that, but doesn't mean it won't work. If you try it, let us know how it works out.

isnt a direct bolt on, i need a wrx dashboard beam, the tubular metal structure where the steering column bolts on. is that what you call it? havent been active lately on the forum, did a quick search to see if anyone has swapped a wrx dash into a gen1 legacy, didn't find a thread. i can source the beam no problem now i am wondering if it bolts in.

there are a couple of cars with the swapped dash. Most recently livestrong14 did it

checkout his posts didn't get much info, still waiting for a pm from him. if anyone can point me to a link that would be cool

The only guy I know who's done stuff like this is no longer with us, so I can't ask.

splines are different at the u joint. need a wrx rack too

yeah i have the wrx rack in already, wasn't too happy with the legacy wrx knuckle hybrid mainly because of safety aspect.

okay so i have the wrx dash beam and wrx dash placed in the car. I am waiting for some parts to build an extension on the wrx steering column before i bolt in the dash beam.
