Silicone will work, the vf11 elbow is a flanged piece, if you cut the flange off an have it welded onto the tdo4 it could work, not sure in the diameter of both turbos. I would just do the silicone with a piece of pipe, and call ot good.

Go get a PayPal account, you can use it to pay through your bank account, eBay, www.siliconeintakes.com and www.turbohoses.com

Just a word of caution regarding using silicone hoses on the inlet side of the turbo. Others have experienced the 90 degree elbows collapsing under hard acceleration or quick throttle responses. So whatever you get, make sure it's reinforced to help prevent that.

+1 ^^ josh that's a good idea, putting a piece of pipe into the 90 degree inlet to put the black elbow,
Will also help reinforce it aswell.

i just purchased a VF28 that the previous owner had had Surgeline weld a 90* inlet on it. any custom shop that deals with forced induction and fabrication can likely do it for you, and likely has done it. pretty common for people to do it to the compressor outlet as well for rotated setups and what not

Very true story about silicone caving under loads.

I had just swapped my VF11 for a fatty GT28RS and ran a silicone inlet elbow to the turbo. It did work! Tho it did have a kink in it... That kink under load in top gear on the highway would invert and give the car NO air!

It was like driving a car with a clogged exhaust!

I quickly went down to the local speed shop and got a one off custom inlet welded to my turbo!

Since then i have had no problems at all. Best idea i have ever had as far as turbo go.

Best bet is to get some metal tube made. Or get some sort of a manifold riser.
