new electrical problem and can't even turn over

parked my 92 touring wagon ej22t 4eat after my 25 min drive home today. Then 10 mins later I swapped in a walbro fuel pump. To be sure all is well I did 4 key on cycles to check for any leaks, bad ground etc... no problems. Everything worked as it should.

Now I turn the key 5th time to start the car and:
abs light goes out very quickly, the oil light is dim, dash gear indicator is very dim, and can't hear the fuel pump prime (its loud enough).

Checked all the fuses and even the slow blows with a multi-meter and came up empty.
Changed the ignition relay with a working one and no luck.

I'm stumped and I'm now without my daily driver thankfully I can take the wifes car tomorrow.

anyone got any suggestion?

Thanks Kevin

update with the solution
I replaced the battery ground wire and added a second one (4ga). Then I added a second ground (14ga) for the fuel pump on the sender. Everything was good again on the first turn of the key!
I noticed that it started better than before and the engine feels stronger and its a low mile rebuid.
