idk... mine was reprogrammed twice, replaced once... mines a 93... then again mine is a very rare 93 2.2 turbo... and i also have a obd2 port in it from factory might i add... its also an original factory 500 with the stick has a factory dvd headunit too... then again im also the guy who pushed subaru for the BRZ model to come out to bring the 2dr sportscar back even though i really wanted the svx reborn...

Yeah, bullshit artist FO SHO!!! He had me going for a bit, I was searching the dark corners of the internet hopeing something of that was true... It wasn't! And the whole "I can shut your car down" thing?!?! Bitch PLZ, the only way you can do that is with a EMP burst. I would love to see him here on the BBS, it would be like throwing a T-bone to wolves!

I was reading along and thought it sounded familiar, then I came across a post made by me! Oh yeah! now I remember! lol

It does kinda seem like it may be the same guy. Very similar style.

I remember a guy in Florida that had a wagon that he put 6 15" subs into. I don't remember what the deal was offhand, but I believe he was banned.

It has mostly just been spammers. I think there might have been one or two guys that got banned that weren't spammers. I'd have to go back through the list and check.

That's how it was on diymobileaudio.com forums a few years ago before they switched ownership. I loved that forum and was on it as much as I'm on here. Then the owner sold it to the guy who owns Second Skin which is a sound dampening company very similar to Dynamat. He quickly changed EVERYTHING on the forum. The whole look of the forum, added in new sections such as a dedicated SPL section (we were always all about SQ and nobody really talked about SPL, we let those guys go to the other boards) and he added in a bunch of forum nazis to monitor everything and ban people. I basically dropped my main hobby because of that. The community quickly changed and all the stupid bass head kids started pouring in (think NASIOC crowd) and it was never the same again. Without that community feeling like we have here, I lost interest in it. That's about the time I started coming here a lot. I think I had been prowling for a long time before that but hadn't signed up yet. I had a legacy back then but it was my first one and wasn't turbo so I didn't feel cool enough to join or something haha.

Anyways, I'm glad we don't have a bunch of mods here and the community polices itself quite well. I say, if it's not broke don't go trying to fix it.
