So about a year or two ago I saw an RV vent

The RV vent looked an awful lot like a Spec C roof
vent and since I'm going to be building a dedicated
off-road wagon here soon I'm thinking of putting a
vent or two in the roof so I can drop the AC out.
I've seen some plastic ones on ebay right now for
$25, but I'm hoping for metal instead since I'm
not really sure what speeds these plastic ones
could take. They dont necessarily look heavy
duty by my standards, but they would probably
hold up to at least 55mph winds. I would hope
more, but I cant tell. They're the only ones I could
find that are thin though and could be dropped into
the roof. Does anyone have any better ones that
they could recommend? Preferrably metal? $300
is too much for a roof vent for a makeshift off-road
vehicle.

I'm thinking of getting rid of most of the interior anyhow
so the ceiling wont be an issue. Neither will snow since
I live in Florida. The temperature wouldn't change too
much. Any help would be appreciated :D

They're common on older big rigs for cab vents. You might try somewhere that supplies truck parts.

I actually found a really good set I think. Looks like
one of these should work :D I guess it wont let me post
a direct link, but if you go to vents and fans and then
side vents.

SWRT why are all of your posts written with weird line breaks?

I dont know. Just something I've done for
a while. I suppose it's easier to read things
when they're smushed together in one spot.

Why are you reading your own posts?

I dont tend to make spelling errors, but I do
often change the way I word things.

I often edit my post three or four times after submitting it. You'd think I'd learn to proofread it before I hit the submit button

Same as me, haha. It's just easier to collect your
thoughts afterwards, I suppose. And you have a
lot of posts, dude. More than I have on here, RS25
and Legacygt combined haha

I usually try and read mine over before posting, but I'm guilty of going back and editing a few for grammar/spelling errors :)
