well its spring time again so the pile of parts is adding up
this year the car is getting a built bottom end with scat rods wiseco pistons and arp head studs
picked up some V9 STI heads, equal length header and twin scroll turbo
sti intake manifold with full wiring harness and ecu. going to convert to OBD2 so i can get it tuned properly

will update as work starts

is it me or the cross flow pipe you got to fit with the breather hole on the ej22t block ? or thats just sitting not bolted up ? what trickery is that lol

Im confused by your question. The coolant cross over pipe? That would be the version 8 sti one that came with the heads and turbo setup . The coolant sensor is close to the crank vent but should be more than enough room for the hose and the plug

yes the coolant cross over pipe did you bolt it on ? and it fits with the ej22t block front vent ?

I must be loosing it and that pipe fits, If I recall right mine didn't fit... I cant think of it now lol... in december ill remember for the spare motor build.

Yea its bolted down and fits well . Sometimes that vent is rotated and would hit but you can use a screw driver in the tube and rotate that vent in the block to point a different direction

Just putting this here for reference to anyone running JDM 05 sti heads . The Valve cover gasket part numbers are
13272AA075 and 13270AA152. my local dealership was able to bring these if for me even tho they are a non north american part.

Motor is finally in the car. Engine bay got a fresh coat of paint . Now off at a buddies place getting custom downpipe and front mount intercooler

Surprisingly the whole single avcs ej207 master gasket set is also in inventory: 10105AA351. I ordered it last year and it arrived within a week.

new pictures coming soon guys
got a custom stainless steel downpipe made up the other week. intercooler kit came in and will be modified this weekend for the legacy. picked up a set of Injector Dynamic 850cc injectors and the wiring harness is getting shipped to iWire down in California to be merged with the sti harness. hopefully be up and running by May.

A buddy of mine buys and parts out written off jdm cars. He just got in a 95 sti and I got some goodies.

Oem sti front strut bar, cusco rear strut bar and mine's lower control arm brace! I also got a rhd 5 speed pedal set with master to convert my other rhd legacy to 5 speed

So ballin. I'm stoked that you were able to route piping like that. I'm definitely going to do my piping in that manner when my car is ready.

I'll take some detailed shots of the piping when the car gets back to my house this week it is a very tight fit but thats how i wanted it .

Yeah definitely, would love to see detailed pics of the routing. Also what's up with the intercooler inlet on the right? It looks like the inlet into the core is split open?

In that photo it was. Cut back to clearance light. The end tank was then welded back up. Updated photos will show that .
