well I finally have money saved for a 3"down pipe... what fits the best on a 91ss?

Just bought one from kimo down by olympia wa. They seem to go for anywhere from 60 to 200$. I'll send you a link of a web site I was looking at last night that had them.

I agree, I just got a stainless steel cat back off of ebay for 152.99 shipped. Bought my downpipe on here for 35$ and its pretty stinking clean aswell. You want the link to the cat back I got? I think there are a few more for sale. its 3in

I did a quick search on the sellers site and didnt see any other for sale but here it is. I reccomend ebay because everywhere else you look its going to be over 200. I know theres a guy on here south of olympia wa which is more down by you, but hes asking 200. Even if you drive to him.

Does the 02-05 wrx exaust fit right?

Yeah with all of my searching I've been finding that anything up to 2007 fits. It will need a couple mods bend wise from an exhaust shop but will fit. I'm taking my down pipe and that cat back to R&H garage in green lake WA and they are going to install both parts with a custom flange for me. Ive heard to put a resinator in the mid pipe somehwere to keep the loud boxer growl at bay on the high way. I'll let you know how the install goes when I get it done in a few days. Any old muffler shop should be able to make it fit. You could not but a cat back and just buy the muffler you would like then take it to a muffler shop and just have them make you a cat back out of the pipe they have, but that would cost more $ anyway.

Yeah man, Dyno Day! I'll be there. I'm going to try and get pictures and video of the exhaust and gauges up as soon as they go in.

Yeah I'm hoping to have my mods done by then too. Im in the middle of ordering a td04,tmic,and silicone hose kit. Sadly thiese things will more then likely go in after dyno day. But the turbo back,mbc,and guages should be before.

Nice man. Just got mine on. Waiting to get approved for a build thread then I'll get pics and a link to youtube with the sound. I did 3in TBE with no cat and it sounds gnarly.

Also no resinator. I like it for now. It sounds better then most after market wrx's around here. I'll try to get a link up in a day or two. May just buy a resinator to have on the side for when ever I feel like quieting it down a bit. Nice for now though.

I just ordered the silicone hoses i need for my td04, so when i pull off my vf11 and sell it I want to get the rest of my exhaust with the money... the vf11 has less then 8k on it, it was bought as a new rebuilt unit less then a yr ago
