I don't know but I have a fondness for the old RX. It has that Audi coupe look and is a blast to drive. If only I could Find one around here, I'd grab it in a heartbeat :D Awesome Car!

I didn't even know there was an RX Turbo, but if we really think about it, what Subie didn't?

Yeah, if I could get it here, I would bid on it too... cool bodywork!

Slow, xt turbo or even XT6 would be faster and more fun.

But the XT is one of the ugliest vehicle's ever made with four wheels. Besides they both have the 1.8L turbo and this thing has lockable centre and rear differentials. Whereas the XT has only the rear. So I can't imagine the XT to be any faster or more fun. thats how I view it :D

How would XT turbo be faster? They're both 1.8 turbo, right? Wouldn't use the term "fast" with either really (120 turbocharged HP  ), our NA's would probably be as fast or faster...

I actually think the XT looks alright, but then there's the steering wheel...

LegacyT, wrong. My xt parked at home right now has a locking center diff and rear lsd.

THE XT IS FASTER.
It doesnt matter how ugly any of you think it is, it has the LOWEST drag of any subaru vehicle made to date. (.29)
Add to that NO PS PUMP and even more power is available.

Why dont some of you look up the drag numbers for any vehicle from 1960+ and the list with lower drag than the XT can fit on one hand (you cant count the gas electric hybrids either).

Besides, you could get an XT6 for the same price range and get 145HP with all the same features in a 2.7l 6 cylinder. Or in other words WAY more low end power than a 1.8 turbo.

Ciper the RX 4 dr is 200 lbs lighter than the XT. Not to mention the 2 door coupe I'm referring to. So up untill aerodynamic speeds come up, the RX still has the advatage (talking about RX Turbo and XT turbo). And only once excessive speeds have been reached, will the XT's low coefficiency of drag be noticable and beneficial. But I mean in the real world a cars performance for the most part is judged by it's acceleration not it's top speed. After all, their are speed limits but no acceleration limits. I'm sorry I didn't know the XT had a lockable centre diff. I only wanted to post this topic for some to see some other, older neat Subaru's. I appologize if I've caused any offence in doing so.

Its cool, but you still agree than the XT6 would be faster than all of them right? 8)

Surprising as it may sound I might buy a GL wagon this week. I saw it parked on the side of the road with a for sale sign. Normally I wouldnt give it a second look but the body was perfect! I thought my car was nice, this one didnt even have the normal parking lot door dings!
