(Save) (WA): 1974 Datsun 260z

This is a feeler on this, and if any one is on z forums or nissan forums, please feel free to repost this.

Ok, she's a 1974 datsun 260z. Apparently there is only one production year of 260z in the US.
I'm not sure on the mileage. Here's what i know is wrong:
I know that one of the rails is a little rusted out and could stand to be replaced, it's not a big deal, i would probably only replace it if i was doing full restoration. the cam has a flat lobe. again, this is not a major issue, it could run better, but it's not going to stop you from driving. I think one of the transmission mounts is cracked, according to the z specialist guy near my house in clearview, this isn't an issue unless i totally botch backing up a hill at some ridiculous speed. rear hatch leaks, but i have already purchased new gaskets for it. around the doors also need gasket replacement. Various electrical issues, ie the heater and rear defrost are weird.
last time i tried to start, she started fine. That was about a year ago. I'll pull the tarp off soon and start her up again.
I bought her for 2500 and proceeded to put about 1000 dollars of work into her. So I'd LIKE 3500, but i realize that that is probably not going to happen. Probably 2500 at BEST. Make me an offer. SERIOUSLY, make me an offer! If it's someone on the forums I'm much more likely to give a discount.
I'll post more pictures later.
***EDIT 08.22.12***
Pictures as promised. Plus some explaination.
Exterior
Paint is in pretty decent shape, but that being said it is not even remotely original obviously.
Hood is a fiberglass hood. Doesn't seem to be able to be painted well. Plus it's not designed well, so once it is painted, the flex on the hood will cause paint to crack, as shown.

Body kit was molded into the body, No room for flex has caused cracks over time when it connects

Rust around entry hatches. All of the seals for the doors and hatch are shot. A complete new set of seals for the rear hatch is included.

Interior
I might keep this steering wheel.

Dash is cracked pretty badly. Apparently that's a normal thing for these cars. There are several aftermarket options to fix this, including a dash cap.

Not sure how many miles she has.

She could stand some new carpet. Something black would be fantastic.

Seats were custom upholstery by the previous owner. They're actually done VERY nicely.

There are 5 of those snowflake rims. They're supposedly hard to find. One of them is a graphite gray color, which looks really nice.

Here's the VIN.

10.08.12 Update
Some pictures of the engine bay. I'm apparently really jittery, as half of these are massively blurry.
