that muffler is going to melt the crap out of the bumper if you dont get it lower and sticking out further

Welcome to the BBS!
Looks pretty clean. Nice find. But I agree it looks like the muffler is blowing right into the bumper. Even if it isn't the heat will rise right into the bumper and I would certainly not rely on those metal zip ties to hold a muffler in place.

Muffler position is not permanent. I'm getting it welded on next week. To include new hangers. I was not concerned with the bumper as it has damage already and needs to be replaced from previous damage. My other car's muffler has been held with heavy duty plastic zip ties for the past year. It never broke, so I never replaced it.

Nice car man. I noticed the parking garage you are on. Is that Chapel Hills mall by any chance in Colorado Springs?

Thanks! Yup, that's the spot. I think it's a pretty cool place to take pics with Pikes Peak in the background.

Hammered out a few dents, replaced the rear light panel, painted the rear bumper. I'm gonna call it good for now.
Before
After
Still gotta move that muffler up like everyone suggested.

Before anyone asks... yes I painted those lights like that too. It's a concept I've had in my head ever since I wanted to buy one. I am going to obviously re paint the car in the future. I just wanted to see what it looked like. The final color I will leave a secret!

i think white is the best color - nice one. i was thinking about something similar for the rear panel and i even used black vinyl and completely covered the rear center section. it looked okay but more like a corolla lol so i removed it.

I think the paint job on the center panel & lights looks good.

2006 STI fuel pump installed. I also got a boost controller, oil return, blow off valve and a few other STI parts for $20. The guy was really cool and had a fully built STI.

I wanted a cone filter to replace the box, and didn't want to spend any money. Simple solution! Grind down the MAF and stick a filter directly on the end. Also replaced the spark plugs and wires today. Pulls a lot better now. One of my old plugs was gapped at .032 lol
Here are some pictures of what I did. The last one is black and white because my phone switched modes on me.. oh well.

Interesting work on the MAF...couldn't have just gotten a MAF adapter? They aren't that expensive.

Replaced the knock sensor and coolant temp sensor. Wow! What a difference. The knock sensor was cracked and the coolant temp sensor looked like it had seen better days.
Changed the 5MT gear oil to Extra-S. Transmission shifts nice and smooth now. No more second gear grind. The old gear oil was some kind of mixture between raw sewage color and jet black (eww). Glad to have that stuff out of my car!
Used some Rain-X Headlight Restore. It's just the bottle of solution. All you do is rub it in a circular motion for a while with a shop towel and rinse it off. I scrubbed pretty hard lol. Here are the results after 1 use.
Clean headlights, and new STI Plate!
Just a picture I thought was cool
